Days That Matter is a project of the Miscarriage Association. The M.A. is a registered charity providing support and information to anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy.

On our forum and in our support groups, we’ve seen how important dates can be – whether that’s the date of a miscarriage, a due date, or a date chosen to remember a loss. We’re working hard to decrease the stigma of talking about miscarriage, but we know that for many, these painful dates remain unacknowledged. Days That Matter is our way of bringing together these dates and stories, adding them to a calendar and acknowledging them all, while also increasing awareness of pregnancy loss and raising the vital funds we need to continue our work.

We hope that you will get involved in the campaign, by submitting your own story, pledging to do something to mark a significant date, or by sharing the link to this website with your family, friends and contacts on social media using the hash-tag #DaysThatMatter.

Many of the stories on this website show how tough things can be after a loss or losses. Please remember you don’t have to go through this alone.

The Miscarriage Association offers support by phone(01924 200795, Monday – Friday 09.00 – 16.00) or by email (info@miscarriageassociation.org.uk). See our website for more information.

Your GP (if you are in the UK) may also be able to help.  And the Samaritans are always at the end of the phone, day or night, on 116 123.
