My heart goes out to all those suffering and I hope you all know that you are not alone.

Writing this essay has been very cathartic and will hopefully enable me to start to move on from the actual physical side of the miscarriage and deal with the loss itself. I hope.

Knowing that others have experienced this is reassuring. It may take a long time to heal, but there is strength to be found in even our darkest moments.

Knowing I was pregnant on our wedding day, I found our wedding photos so hard to look at. Our baby is there in my tummy in those pictures forever. Two months later and I actually find some comfort in them.

I loved you without knowing you and now I miss you so much.

This is a reminder that everything you are feeling is natural. You have some good days then bad days. It takes time and talking does help.
