13 June 2018

I suffered a chemical pregnancy loss on June 13th 2018, with my boyfriend at the time.

It happened 2 weeks after conceiving. I was severely bleeding and cramping up with what I knew couldn’t have been my period because I wasn’t due yet. But then I had the size of a lemon come out of me. A couple days after that, I had what looked like coffee grinds come out of me in the toilet. So then I knew something was not right.

I know many people don’t consider infant loss to be in that short amount of time, but to me that’s crazy, because the way I see it is it doesn’t matter one bit how long you might have carried a child, it was still there. It was still part of me.

I’ll admit that nobody that I know fully believes that I went through this but all that matters is that I know it was tragic. I miss my little angel so much, but I know she would have been too beautiful to live in this kind of world.

I know one thing for sure, that I was so lucky to have been its Mom. That was my baby and my best friend.

I wish I would have known something beforehand, but for me everything was just too soon and you hardly formed into anything yet. But I sure did love you and I always will. You are my baby.

May you always rest easy, my darling child. Mommy will always carry you in her heart no matter what, I promise to think of you every single day. You are one of the best things to have ever happened to me.
